Pungartnik prolonges Contract in Gummersbach |

Today Roman Pungartnik prolonged his contract with the VfL Gummersbach up to June 30th 2009. Pungartnik, who played 179 times for the Slovenian national team, had changed before the start of this season from Hamburg to Gummersbach, where he plays on the right wing and in the right backfield.
François-Xavier Houlet, team manager of the VfL Gummersbach, was very happy about the prolongation with the experienced players, who showed his class especially in the matches of the Champions League: "We are very happy, that Roman will play another year for us. He showed, that he is a very important player for us. He convinces with his performance on the field and he is to that a very important man for the team". |
